Education

We provide unique and inspiring learning environments in which young people thrive both in and outside of the classroom.

We provide a place where children and young people enjoy learning, feel valued and are fully supported.

Our dedicated, highly skilled, and experienced professionals work closely with parents and carers to raise the aspirations of our pupils and deliver exceptional outcomes, shaping a future every young person and their family deserve. As a result, we have sector-leading attendance rates and placement stability both at 93%.

We are incredibly proud of our young people and the challenges they overcome to succeed, both academically and socially. Each one of our pupils is encouraged and supported to achieve nationally recognised qualifications that are right for them. These range from entry-level certificates and functional skills awards to BTECs, GCSEs and A-Levels.

This approach to learning has led to our students collectively achieving 1,611 qualifications, including 634 GCSEs with 70% of our GCSE pupils achieving an English Language GCSE and 70% achieving a GCSE in Maths too.

Our commitment to excellence continues to be reflected in our sector-leading regulatory judgements with 100% of our schools rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted. We continued this level of excellence as we opened three new schools - Castlefell School in South Gloucestershire, Hilden Park School in Kent, and Bescot Hall School in the West Midlands - enabling us to continue to improve the lives of more young people across the country. We invested over £40.3 million into our inspirational learning environments this year, creating state-of-the-art spaces specifically designed to inspire and empower our pupils.

Next year, we look forward to the opening of three new schools, in Leicestershire, Cheshire and Cumbria, increasing our pupil placement capacity to 2,377. We also roll out our new Futures Curriculum, developed in partnership with employers, teachers and the Futures Team. This innovative curriculum features a range of engaging initiatives designed to equip every young person with the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed for life beyond education.

My best day at school...

We asked our children and young people about their best day at school last year. They were quick to share their favourite memories with us, resulting in this video. From their first day to class trips and more, it's easy to see why every one of our schools is Ofsted-rated Good and Outstanding.
